From the first warm week through fall it's mulch, screened topsoil, compost, gravel, decorative stone, river rock and hand-picked boulders. When the forecast turns, the same yard becomes a winter supply depot: rock salt, Peladow calcium chloride, magnesium pellets, spreaders and cold-weather gear.
