Short answer
Screened bulk topsoil for filling low spots, grading, and building new lawns and beds. One cubic yard covers roughly 160 square feet at 2 inches deep. Available for pickup or Long Island delivery.
Topsoil is the workhorse of any landscape job: it fills, levels and gives roots something to grow into. Ours is screened so it spreads and rakes cleanly instead of fighting you with rocks and root balls.
For a new lawn, plan on 4–6 inches of topsoil over compacted subgrade. For overseeding and patching, a half inch to an inch is plenty. Mix in compost when the existing soil is sandy or lifeless — Long Island soil often is.
